ThinkBIG at the Wellsboro High School Sporting Events

            The High School Student Council is doing a fundraiser for ThinkBIG throughout the end of September to raise money for families struggling with pediatric cancer. 

            ThinkBIG's is an organization that raises money to relieve the stress of everyday financial expenses so families who are battling pediatric cancer can concentrate on treatment and healing. In 2021, ThinkBIG raised more than $195,000. The High School will raise awareness this year by having their sports teams wear golden socks and headbands. Anyone can attend the sports games and donate. 

            “I’m thrilled that we’ve had the opportunity to support this worthy cause for the past several years,” said Student Council advisor Mrs. Whitney.

            Student Council members will be collecting donations 9/20 at the girls soccer game, 9/22 at the girls tennis match, 9/27 at the cross country meet, 9/27 at the volleyball game, 9/28 at the varsity football game, and 10/24 at the JV football game. Come out and support our student-athletes and donate to a worthy cause.
