Students at Don Gill were excited to learn about personal finance from Sheila Blair!

Sheila Bair is an author, educator, and nationally recognized leader in financial policy. She served as Chair of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) from 2006 to 2011, where she guided the agency through the global financial crisis with a strong focus on consumer protection and financial stability. In recognition of her leadership and influence, Forbes named her the second most powerful woman in the world in both 2008 and 2009.

Today, she is a leading advocate for financial literacy—especially for children—and the author of the Money Tales series, which helps young learners build healthy money habits early in life.

Thank you to Cody Bowen, C&N Bank and the BOCES - New Visions Program for bringing Sheila to our school and setting up such a great opportunity for our kids!

Our "Sales Presentation" team took 1st place in the state!! Congrats to Jude, Ellie, and Ethan! Overall, our team also placed 5th in the state for "Growth of the Chapter".
