NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to the Open Meeting Law,
(1974, July 1, P.L. 486, No. 175, Section 1, et. seq.) that the Board of
School Directors of the Wellsboro Area School District will hold a Special
Board Meeting on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at 6:30 PM in the Board Room,
(prior to the Work Session), Administration Office, 227 Nichols Street, Wellsboro, PA held for the purpose of approving WASD general business that may come before the Board.

Support Staff Vacancy for Full Time Special Education Paraprofessional

Lunch Account Reminder! Parents/staff please check your student's lunch account for any outstanding balance. We are asking you to correct any negative balance by Tuesday, June 3rd. Parents of graduating students, please contact the school if your child has a positive balance and would like reimbursement. You can also donate a leftover balance to the fund for students in need - but this request must be in writing to jbutler@wellsborosd.org. Thank you!

Our 4th graders had a special visitor yesterday in the library! Local author, Bob Borzok came in for a book talk about his newest Wellsboro mystery novel The Missing Crown Mystery. Thanks to a generous donation from the Duhnams Family, all 4th graders received a copy of the book, which they have read in their ELA classes this month. The students were excited to meet Mr. Borzok, see the real Laurel Festival crown, as well as learn about HAM radios! The visit ended with all students getting their books signed by the author! What a great experience for these young readers!
