Thank you UPMC Wellsboro Hospital! Our students were able to see the various departments in the hospital such as Environmental Services, Nutrition Services, Med/Surg, OB, ICU, ER, Same Day Surgery, Laboratory Services, CPT, Physical Therapy/Rehab, etc. The students also rode in the ambulance, received their own stethoscope and lab coat, and a UPMC bag with other items.
We greatly appreciate everyone at the Wellsboro Hospital for making this camp possible. Thank you to the presenters in the various departments. We hope to inspire the next generation of health care workers.
Mrs. Bianca Parsons, our new Career Technical Education teacher for Health Occupations joined our students along with Mrs. Harmon (Guidance Counselor) and Mrs. Coots (Principal of Academic Affairs). Our new Health Occupations program begins Aug. 30th with the first day of school!
