To register a student for the current school year, you will need to register online (see link below) and make an appointment by contacting Joyce Butler, at the District Administration Office. The office is located at 227 Nichols Street, Wellsboro PA 16901. For questions please call (570) 724-4424 ext. 1023.

For your child to enroll in Kindergarten they will need to be 5 years of age before September 1, and for First grade 6 years of age before September 1, of the current year. Items you will need to bring with you to your appointment:

• Your student’s birth certificate

• Your student’s immunization records

• Proof of residency in the Wellsboro Area School District. List of acceptable proof of residency (no PO Boxes and no Driver’s License) is one of the following:

  • Lease

  • Current Utility Bill

  • Current Car Insurance

  • Current Car Registration

• Custody Papers (if applicable)

• Foster papers (if applicable)

If you already have a Community/Parent Portal login for previously enrolled students, you will still need to create a login to access the online registration. Conversely, creating a Registration Login does not grant you access to your child’s Community/Parent Portal.
